HI,
I am currently trying to determine if I want to switch to MediaPortal from MythTV for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is I am far more Windows knowledgeable. I have successfully installed and setup MediaPortal 1.0 RC2 because HDHomeRun is broken in RC3
on my test machine, and so far am VERY impressed. However, I have a couple questions...
1. After then channel scan I have something that looks like this
2 WWMT 3:1
2 W MI CW 3:2
7 WOOD 8:1
7 WXSP 8:2
7 RADAR 8:3
and they show up in the guide and by the frequency and in Live TV to chane channels by number I have to hit say 7 and it always picks the first channel in the frequency 7 line up. Is there anyway to have my channels display with the major/minor mappings, not frequency? Also, by extension, is there any way to set it up so I can punch in "8-1" in LiveTV to change to that channel.
2. I have successfully installed and set up the Schedules Direct plugin and my guide is working fine, and I have successfully set up some test recordings, with the "Record all on this channel". However is there a way to only record new episodes of a show?
