I am at work and so don't have access to all the information but thought I would explain the problem and see if others are having the same problem as well..
I have the latest RC3 download of TV server and mediaportal and currently use a Hauppauge HVR 1110. Everything worked brilliantly when I used mediaportal and its built in tv engine but when I decided to upgrade to RC3everything works fine apart from channel switching.
I start up the TV in mediaportal, connect and get a picture with audio, as expected but then when I try and change channels it won't allow it saying something like "cannot start timeshifting card already in use". It seems to me that it is a timeshifting problem in that the timeshifting doesn't stop, allow me to change channel, and then restart. This is very frustrating as I want timeshift to work - though I prefer the TV to be working more so!
Anybody have any ideas? I have searched and searched the forums but to no avail!
