I recently upgraded from MP 1 1.6 to 1.8. I have noticed that channels connected to my Hauppauge Colussus have audio that is not synced while watching HD channels (Any channels above 1002) . Also, channels 708 through 749 connected to tuner Hauppauge HVR-1600 - QAM skip and jump around like a scratched record. I searched the forums and tried some suggested fixes from other threads and a past thread of my own. I am attaching all logs and hopefully can get some advice.

Thank you.

    Hello

First, please use the EVR on W7. VMR 9 is only intended for use on XP.
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...ration/9_Codecs_and_Renderer/3_Video_Renderer

Second, please do not use the MediaPortal audio renderer for TS (live and/or recorded TV) playback unless you know about the limitations/consequences of doing so. It is fine for videos; TV is a different story. The default DirectSound renderer is recommended for TV in most cases.

If those two tips don't help...

I can't tell what channel numbers you were testing because I can only see the channel names (eg. HBO HD, WNOL-DT) in the log files. In other words I can't correlate "708 through 749" or "channels above 1002" with your log files. You're going to need to tell me channel names instead of numbers if you want assistance with that.

I also note you're using a multi-seat setup (ie. MediaPortal and TV Server on different PCs), so TV Server logs would be helpful (you only supplied MediaPortal logs).
Do you see the same problems when you test TV on the server? (ie. trying to rule out network, firewall as factors)

    Sorry, did not know that.
    QAM channels that jump are: WVUE-DT, WGNO-DT, WYES-DT, WNOL-T, WPXL-DT.

I am including my logs for the TV side. I will check the others out on my next recordings and playback. Thank you!

Thanks for the extra info. :)

    QAM channels that jump are: WVUE-DT, WGNO-DT, WYES-DT, WNOL-T, WPXL-DT.
With WGNO-DT I can see entries like this in the TsReader log:
    [2014-07-22 23:39:18,701] [1b73f2a8] [101c] - vidPin : Video to render late= 0.078
    [2014-07-22 23:39:19,003] [1b73f2a8] [ dd0] - Pause 195 mS renderer clock to match provider/RTSP clock, A/V = 0/89

I suspect that was caused by the use of the MediaPortal audio renderer. Hopefully the configuration changes will have helped.
