Channels overwriting each other during DVB-S scan (1 Viewer)

    1.2.2 Satellite - Screens and logs for full satellite scan on MP 1.2.2
    1.1.3 Satellite - Screens and logs for full satellite scan on MP 1.1.3

    RESULT::
    On 1.2.x versions of MP, different channels(maybe with same PID and SID) overwriting each other during DVB-S scan(even from different satellites).
    Reference: Compare.PNG
    EXPECTED RESULT::
    Channels should be scanned properly, like it was for 1.1.3 and older versions of MP.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Start TV-Server Configuration.
    2. On tv-tuner conf. page select Amos satellite.
    3. Check 'Enable DVB-S2' , 'each satellite' , 'each provider' checkboxes.
    4. Scan for all channels.
    5. Select 'TV Channels tab' main-tree tab.
    6. Select 'SatTelecom' tab in 'TV Channels' window.
    7. Compare channels list from standalone transponder scan and from complete satellite scan.

    I have this issue on different tv-tuners and only on 1.2.x MP versions.

    You may have to wait for someone with the relevant expertise to look at your logs.

    The team is quite small and we all have real lives. Sorry.

    Oh please forgive me if my words were count as forcing the fix :)
    It is strange to me that nobody has the same problem.

    Could you post some logs from a channel scan on 1.3.0Alpha? We know of some problems with channel scanning/tuning with 1.3.0Alpha, but your problem does seem specific to you.

    Hi guys

    No additional logs are required - I know what the problem is... but I'm not sure if/how we should fix this. The problem is that some of your channels have the same ONID [network ID] + TSID [transport stream ID] + SID [service ID]. According to DVB guidelines, this combination is meant to be unique in all the world. In 1.1.x channels were identified by their name, but we want to move away from that because it doesn't allow us to handle channel movements and renaming easily...

    Anyway I have attached new logs. Maybe as a workaround Provider ID field can be added to channel properties(ONID, TSID, SID, Provider ID)
