Not that I got any responses here but I thought others may be interested in my findings.I swapped the motherboard from the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P to a EP45-DS3L.Problem disappeared.Nothing to do with the six Windows installs.The main difference I can see on the two boards is intel RAID and dual nics on the original board.Anyway, I couldn't get it to work with the first board.
