    Hi mamachan

Why have you added ffdshow raw to the postprocessing section of both dvd and video. If you look in the guide a point no 3 in the tips and tricks you can see how to permanently add ffdshow raw without having to configure it in Mediaportal.

    DVD SETTING
Video Codec: nvidia pure video or if that doesn;t work try MPV
    Audio codec: ffdshow
    PostProcessing:
    PostProcessing:

    Are you sure???

yeah i see that article. Perhaps the author was not aware of the particular options in ffdshow itself?

You can test my settings by simply enabling the ffdshow OSD, then when you play back mpeg2 files with whatever codec you prefer, nvidia or mpv, you will see the osd come up. That is if you followed tip number 3.

Sorry but don't work for me (DVD) with nvidia or mpv.
I must add ffdshow raw to the postprocessing section.
Otherwise i must set "ffdshow video decoder" as Video Codec. Only in this way i can disable ffdshow raw to the postprocessing section.

    @ mamachan

I wonder if you started from a clean install how you you would go. I think you may have a lot of codec problems right now.

Also what version of MP are you using?

I don't thinks i have codec problems, my video are very very good.:)

Perhaps it's necessary to change something in ffdshow video decoder configuration/direct show control/multiple sections?? (now i use "only one - control all filter in the graph")

That was simply great! It's got all the information to start enjoying the MP.
I've come to be too lazy to experiment myself with all the setting possible and I here I got the highlights of what's the most important. :D BIG THANKS!

Well, not on a daily basis. In the past three weeks, there were two situations were friends wanted me to play a flash clip from their memory sticks.

Still have not got it working in MP though.

    Hi Phunqe,
I posted the following information here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...m_not_show_up-t29603.html?p=202904#post202904

If you do this the subtitle file must have the same name as the movie you are attempting to play. eg. thematrix(divx).avi and thematrix(divx).srt. Also it needs to be in the same folder.

BTW i am still alive guys just been busy, will add some of your thoughts to the guide when i get some time.

A big thanks to all who tried my guide and left some feedback.

    It would be great if you explained the alternatives under setup -> VMR9 Advanced settings;
    - Nonsquare mixing?
    - Filtering types? Which does what?
