just to let you know, I have no issues anymore concerning this.

@kkendall - so are you saying you are able to start MP with the green button on the MCE remote?

If so, did you do anything else besides making the suggested change in the 3rd party section in MP Configuration?

Also, which plug-in are you using to incorporate MCE remote functionality with MP?

I think I just activated the MPtray plugin...

You can also uninstall mce.
