Been watching the changes to TVServer over the past few days and decided it's time the latest vesion and also to see in it fixed my 'No sound when playing back recorded TV'.

SVN Version : tvengine3-01-18-2007--20-13.zip 8545 KB 2007-01-18 20:13

The good news is that issue is fixed and fine when playing back recordings but this version stutters very badly when watching live TV.

I know there are a considerable anount of changes taking place and this ZIP does not even have a Rev number - not complaining or asking for a fix just giving feedback.

I did try try SVN revision 12656 and this just using neraly 100% CPU and displays no picture, just a black screen so have reverted to Rev: 12646 and this seems to be working fine and even the no sound issues seems to be resolved.

I have not included any logs for the problems with lastest SVN, not sure it's even a valid build with the lack of a revision number but can easliy install that version and suppy the logs if required.

Thanks

Trevor

It seems to be a problem with the TSFilesource filter. There are two different version in MP-SVN and TVServer3.

If I install the TVServer/Client after MP-SVN, than the Live TV stutters and
the Video playback is ok.

If I first install the TVServer and than the new MP-SVN, the Live TV is ok, but
Video playback works only if i can resume a playback. Playback from begin of
the file did not work.

You can check this, if you manual register/unregister the tsfilesource filter from MP or from TVServer.

It seems the last build has fixed the problem with watching live TV for me but now i can not record if i record or set up a time record it shows that it has been done but when you try to watch the recording it does not play and when i look at the file it is like only a couple of seconds then no more.

Just installed the latest SVN versions, TVServer & MP Rev 12679 and the problem seems to have been resolved...thats is MP SVN forst and TVserver/Client after.

I have just added a Technotrend DVB- S2 card and assoicted software/codecs so the not really testing under the same conditions, so no stuttering and also have BBC HD working...shame there is nothing worth watching on it :)

Just read the last post again...seems I might need to check recordings...
