First off, I know there have been other posts listing the number and types of analogue tuners that are not working with TV-Server, but I have never seen this card on the lists (it's fairly new), and my problem seems a little different to the others stated.

The tuner card in question is the relatively new Compro e800 - DVB-T/Analogue PCIe card : http://www.comprousa.com/New/en/product/e800/e800.html

Now, the card installs no problems and appears in the Device Manager just fine. When I install MP 0.2.3 RC2 plus an SVN and TV-Server/Plugin build (making sure both SVN and TV-Server are the same build #) all my tuner cards including the the Compro e800 are recognised just fine.

Here's the weird bit. I scan for analogue channels using the Compro tuner and all channels are found. BUT when I finish setting up the channels (mapping to cards, sorting order, etc) and exit the TV-Server setup the channels don't work anymore. All I get is static/horizontal lines on the screen. What's weirder is by this stage something fundamental seems to have been "broken".. because if I try to delete and rescan for chnnels, no channels are found. Even if I uninstall the card, or uninstall/reinstall MP and the TV-server (or both) it remains unable to find any channels. The ONLY way to fix this is to revert to a backup image of Windows created before the card was install. Then the compro is able to scan for channels again ok, but loses them once the TV-server setup is exited, etc, etc,

I'm at my wits end. I've tried going back to a stable pre-TV-Server version of MP (0.2.2) just to see if I can get the card to work but of course the Compro e800 isn't recognised. Does anyone know if dman_lfc is still continuing to add cards to the MP build if I follow the instructions from the MP wiki found here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/getting_your_h_w_tvcard_supported_you-t1573.html

Thanks for listening!

UPDATE: Well, I get the feeling (from the lack of replies and the low number of views) that no-one is really interested in this thread. Oh well.

But just in case someone can shed some light on anything, I have included an image of the GraphEdit filter graph that is created when the Analoge tuner first works ok in preview mode (before it "breaks" and turns to static).

Can anyone tell me... does this graph look correct for the TV-Server?

Thanks
Rich
