Well, I decided to make the leap, backed up and de-installed 0.2.1.0, to try my hand at some SVN testing. OK, I admit it, I wanted to use Harley's XMAS skin. :^)

I immediately ran into a problem with my USBUIRT.

This is the SVN-snapshot 12176 from: 2006-12-13 1:04

1) Install USB-UIRT with 1.3 drivers downloaded from this post.
2) Install 0.2.0.0 from scratch
3) Install SVN 12176 using snapshot-installer
4) Run Configuration Wizard (no tab displayed for USB-UIRT)
5) Re-run Configuration, select Remote/USBUIRT panel, displayed messages:

USBUIRT driver version: USB device not detected!
USBUIRT plugin version: 1.16 (February 18, 2006)

Note that I also repeated the above procedure with the USBUIRT driver v1.4, which is the current version available. I read this post, and noted that the newer version of the driver was not detected, but 1.3 is not detetected either.

I can also confirm that both driver versions work on 0.2.1.0.

I know that this bug has been marked as 'fixed' in the post I referenced, however I cannot confirm this.

This is a highly desirable functionality, as I am wishing to try my hand at adapting and81's TV3 External Channel Changer plugin to use the multiple USBUIRT zones/emitters to change channels on multiple STB's, as well as allowing the continued use of my TiVo remote, which is critical to the WAF.

I uploaded the logs, not sure how much help they will be ...

Thanks!
