    Hi there...

I receive DVB-T in Denmark from one serviceprovider but from two transponders. Since I have a dual-tuner TV-card, this should enable me to record and watch all of my channels at one time, right?

I mean, the tuner accesses one transponder which in our case can carry up to 8 channels. Tuning one channel actually means that 8 channels are available as ts-streams.

Lately I have experinced that if I have scheduled two recordings (one on the first transponder, and one on the second). The conflicts thingy comes up and tells me that there is a conflict when I try and schedule a third recording (one transponder or the other, makes no difference).

I do not received encrypted channels, so no CAM involved.

In my logic I should be able to record or timeshift as many channels as my server can do without burning to the ground from stress ;)

I have also had issues when two clients are trying to watch the samme programme, which also should be possible in my logic.

Would anyone care to explain the logic in the TV-Server tuning? To mee it seems quite defect...

    :D

Hmmm...now I mapped one tuner to the channels in one MUX (transponder A) and the other tuner to the channels in the other MUX (transponder B).

Now my experience is that sometimes I cannot even zap between channels on the same MUX. TV stops, and I have to go back to TVHome to restart the channel. Other times there is no problem.

I hope someone pys attention to this detail in MPII

    pilehave,

your thoughts are right. If you have two receivers you should be able to record two services from two transponders. At least for my satellite config this works fine. So I'm pretty sure, that some things in your config are nok. In my config I have mapped all channels to every card in my system. That's it.
