ConnectEncoderFilter failed using NVTV dual (1 Viewer)

Hi Piba,

I just tried the TVserver SVN 15792 (should be latest)....I am using Nvidia DualTv.
When I scan channels on TVserver config, it scans but does not detect any channel.

Do you know how to resolve this?

channel scanning does not work for myself either.. i manually put in the channel and frequency data for the 20 channels i have.. and looked up what frequencies are used on my providers website..

maybe sometime in the future it will be possible but currently the only good way i know is to do it manually.

i do have a small sample app/source that can scan for analog channels.. but most of the time the frequencies are way off.. and would still need to be corrected manually to get clear reception.. if you want i could post the changed-source/compiled-testapp here.

TVE2 is working for me, so I can just copy the frequencies from that page to the TVE3?

Hi Piba,

How did you manually add channels on TV server?
I tried to do that but after I added a channel, it pops up an error message saying the channel is not mapped to any card...

Start "MediaPortal TV Server" the and go to "TV Channels"\"TV Mapping" move the channels you defined to the right panel to "map" them to the card.
Repeat that for all tvtuners that can tune to those channels.

thanks for the instruction,

I tried to map the channels but when I tried to preview the channel, it give me an "unknown error".

anyway, i think i'll give up on the tv server for now....thanks for the help
