I keep getting this Connetion Error
192.166.2.1: There was no endpoint listening at http://192.168.2.1:4322/MPExtended/TVAccessService that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.

192.168.2.1 is my MP 1 TV server, I don't always have an internet connection, at present internet via 3G dongle IPv4 Address 94.196.170.139
I also had this problem with easter build but first release worked but not with ExtendedProvider. I had to use SlimTVClient.

I have tried default settings to start, then entered MP1 server address and MediaPortal as passwords. All with the same result.
Have mentioned network info as some odd things happen with MP 1 without a connection.

No error in server logs so not uploaded

To reproduce (for me) just go to SlimTVClient in menu.

I had the same problem

I installed the summer build over the easter build.
This is wrong, SlimTV is incompatible, see thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...p2-incl-pip-support-update-19-03-2012.106231/
and post https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ase-its-getting-hot.109415/page-3#post-882789

I fixed it by deleting the SlimTV dll:s
Run the installer again and chose repair.
Now the tv works

Hi mrj

I had just re installed Windows and had not run any MP2 version prior to the Alpha. I did try a couple of repairs but still the same result.

Have changed the streaming server port in TV Server to 4322, now I am getting a time out, have checked firewall and enabled MP2 in both private and public networks. Opened port 4322 in both udp and tcp.

Tried both admin and MediaPortal as passwords.

Still getting timeout.

My server is actually 192.166.2.1 not168 as above.

Can not get the logs to upload at present. Will try later

OK got it working, had missed the info in mrj post.

I am using the microsoft loopback adaptor due to connectivity issues, should have mentioned in first post.

Question, is it necessary for MP 2
