No, i can´t find the problem, let alone the solution. Very, very frustrating!

I´ve re-installed Vista. I´ve tried working with the Windows Firewall, instead of the Eset Firewall. I´ve tried working with the MSLoopback device. But so far, nothing helped. I think it´s got something to do with my network settings, although that should have all been solved by re-installing Vista. May something in the router settings. But I don´t have enough technical knowledge... Neither do I have the expertise to interpret the log files.

Could any one please help me solve this problem? I would love to watch TV in MP!

    i realy don`t know...

last week build a server for mediaportal and movie/music database..
seached the forum for best setting etc..
so started with vista sp1 and installed the tvserver...
but then came the problem with sql...
couldn`t get it to work! mssql.
tried to uninstal but i gave it up...
just so hard to remove mssql from your computer(if you got any tips they are welcome)
but i let it go and went further with mysql, and the instalation just went from there.
so that is why i`m running mysql.

my other 2 wired clients just works fine with it.. did not reinstal them.. only changed the ip in the tvplugin.

but i don`t think that that is a problem since my wireless client didn`t work BEFORE switching to my new server.

    so..... :sorry::sorry:

i`m getting a liitle bit stuck here...

hello, I'm getting this error message (Connection to TV service lost) too but only after resume from sleep/hibernation when sheduled recording wants to start right after MP is loaded. When I click ok the connection seems to be reestabilished automatically and recodring continues. However I'll have to investigate wheter it record even when error is shown (by switching to second dvb-t tuner) or it tries once again after closing the window with message.
And how about enable "Reinitialize service on wakeup (also reinitializes tuner)" option in PowerSheduler?

    EDIT:
After enabling Reinitialize option in powersheduler sheduled recording started with no "connection lost" error. So maybe it really helped. I'll have to try it few more times to be sure if it wasn't just fortune.

Another strange thing happened. After resume from hibernation Vista x64 switched to 800x600 (from 1920x1200, ATI Catalyst 9.3). This happened to me once already. I wonder why...

    Same here

    Hi everyone!
I seem to have the same issue. I'm also losing my connection every now and then. I've posted an issue earlier (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-support-51/connection-lost-tv-server-57049/), but no luck. My problem is that I'm able to watch a channel and as soon as I change to another one, my connection drops. Preview in TV Server config works just fine. I'm also able to manual control everything in TV server config. What to do?
