Continuitity errors (1 Viewer)

Watching or recording TV in MP remains to be a big problem in my setup. Everything will run fine for two days, then the tv will shut down in MP every 30 minutes or so (need to restart MP to watch tv again), then encrypted channels only run for a few seconds and then freeze. TSWriter log will contain loads of continuity errors.
I will be running some tests shortly and collect some logfile, but in the mean time:
Can anybody enlighten me (and others) on possible causes for continuity errors. Are there any changes in the newer builds (I don't install the SVN builds, I'll wait for RC4) that might help solve this problem.

That usually means that CAM isnt decoding the TS packets.

Can you explain the how the hardware, tvserver and mediaportal work together? If the CAM isnt decoding TS packets (some of the time), is this most likely a hardware problem? Does TVServer instruct the hardware / cam to decode packets? Are the tunercard and the CAM considered two separate devices by the TVServer? Does TVServer decode packets (using CAM) after they are received from the tunercard?

I'm trying to pinpoint the source of the problem. I think there are 4 candidates:

1. FloppyDTV Tuner Card
2. CONAX CAM Module (poor connection between CAM and Tuner Card?)
3. Smart Card
4. TVServer

Can anyone tell from experience what seems to be the most likely candidate?

Not to wake up an old thread, but rather that than starting a new one with the same contents. I'm having the same problems and have had them for weeks now with no success no matter what I do. I'm using mdapifilter with a softcam which I know ain't supported, but would like to know if I have to dig through both the softcam and mdapifilter to find the solution, or if someone might know why all the "Pes"-errors occurs? I have Signal Strength/Quality of 98 at all times so that seems unlikely. Will update my profile with more info about my box/setup later on. Started with the public beta, and now I'm on the latest SVN, tried different versions of both softcam and mdapifilter without success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
