Control TVServer in Windows Home Server console... (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody!

Is ther any way to control and program the records of the TVServer in the Windows Home Server console?

I remember, once somebody does a plugin for WHS to do that, but the aplication is not finished...

Does anybody uses this? Maybe is posible to finish the plugin, becouse is something really usefull!

WHS itself is not a supported platform (based on Windws Server 2003). So I doubt there is any plugins available for the management console.

As far as I remember it was "only" for the installation on the whs.

My TV-server is runnig on an Zotac IONITX AE, where Windows Home Server i running on. I had install TV-Server with IPTV-plugin, the database is SQLServer 2005, I Found a plugin that can show you TVServer Setup. See the link http://www.whsplus.com/2009/05/24/advanced-admin-console/- Define a link to TVserver, and I works.

ok we want 2 user interfaces advaced this one is the Original layout of the tve console
and one ui simple
simple must be easier as advanced without technik skills
and not overloaded with controls or funktions

so now comes a little design test for you
Debug.zip - Windows Live

download the zip
starts WHSTestLoader( 32 bit os required) with admin rigths
click the button Load assemblys and select HomeServerConsoleTab.Home_Server_TunerConfigWizard.dll
now click on maintab and there on the Demo Button

a wizard starts

so now we need

is in the wizard to much control value s?
or is any function lost if you need?
what you think over the layout ?

I have downloaded this and will try it this evening, Does it require a specific version of the TV Server software?

it is only gui no funktion code included

you can it test on every windows 32 bit os without tvserver
