Please test with TVE3 SVN version > 16442.

If the issue still persist please use following TsWriter to generate detailed log... http://day2.no-ip.org/TsWriter_logging_TS_16461.ax

Also please make sure that the TsWriter.log is deleted before making the recording that shows the corruption and that the log file contains only one single recording (and also no timeshifting...).

I'll do it asap and post results in case problem persists. Let's see if I've got some spare time this afternoon.

@fillerguy, that's exactly what I get inside my ts. I open it with TSReader, and can see many pids with "garbage", and only one with a valid video stream.

edit: forget about TsReader and TsFileSource errors. It was my fault installing last SVN.

I've tried recording again... I still get a .ts plenty of garbage PIDs and one pid with valid video.

tourettes, if you be perfect if you could "see" what we receive in a D+ TP on Hispasat... Do you get Hispasat by any means? If not, please tell me. I'll try to record a full .ts with other app, and put it somewhere so you can have a look.

I'm sure is not a general problem, but a problem with my card (or even its BDA driver) and the fact that D+ TPs on Hispasat use same PMT PID for all channels in that TP. Remember that I tried recording same channel on Astra (we, here in Spain, receive same provider content through Hispasat and Astra) and had no problem at all (Astra TPs have different PMT PID for every channel).

I don't really know what more could I do to let you troubleshoot the issue...

edit: Wow... I've now remembered you provided a link to a TsWriter with detailed log activated. I'll try now and post here the log! Just 10 minutes!

Ok... I did next test:

- Open TV Server.
- Stop TV service.
- Change TsWriter from TV Server directory (hope I'm changing correct file).
- Start TV service.
- Select a channel on "Manual Control".
- Press Timeshift and then Record (I couldn't press Record only, didn't work).
- Recorded some seconds, and stop.

recording and playback of ts streams are broken. extremely blocky and stuttering. Have tried recording mpeg same thing.

Timeshifting pause and playback are perfect. Is there an option to record the whole ts stream or part of the stream (PIDs)

I have the same problem when recording .ts files.

I have made logs when recording to .ts and .mpg with my twinhan card. I also made logs with my Hauppauge Analog card recording to .mpg.

The procedure I used :
Tune to channel
start recording
stop recording
play recording

Can someone tell me where I could upload the video files?
