Since this is only the beginning of the 2.x branch (at least for us end users), I'm very much looking forward to how the default skin will evolve over time, and also what will happen with other (not bundled) skins. Currently the WMC skin is working well for me, after replacing the font. In my use case I only need the asian characters to display for (some) library items, not for the whole GUI (which I keep in English).
