No luck with BitDefender.
It has a option to disable port scan but it is not recommended...
Is there no one that has BitDefender and had the same problem???
BTW with some other covers that I checked if my browser opens don't or just take very long.
(Not my internet connection coz everything els works fine and I get a download rate of +- 40kb)
Why would MP-TV Series be able to download pics for all of my series but moving-pictures don't???
Uninstall BitDefender, and make sure it is totally removed (Norton/Symantec software for example has tendency to not remove itself 100% after an uninstall). If you do not have a router with firewall, then just enable the Windows default firewall for the time being.
Then verify if everything works, if it does you know that you only need to look into BitDefender, so then you can re-install it again and look into the configuration options. I'm sure they have a manual or FAQ somewhere on their website that covers this problem. As for why nobody else using BitDefender is replying, your forum topic makes no mention of this, so that limits the amount of BitDefender users reading this thread, and the few that do might not use it.
I personally prefer Microsoft Security Essentials, or Kaspersky AV. Main firewall for incomming attacks is done by my router (no sense putting stress on computer for that), and PeerBlock prevents any 'phone home' stuff that I do not want. But the Windows firewall is reasonable for most users as well.
