Coverflow view (1 Viewer)

Hi all:

I would like my MP to open in coverflow view.

Everytime I select coverflow it changes to the desired view, however when I exit MP and come again it always open in list view.Is this a normal behaviour?? It can't be opened on the chosed view mode ??

If you have categories enabled, then it could be a simple case of checking your category view settings, because you can force a view in there.

MovPic config -> "GUI Settings" tab -> check the "By default show movies in" setting, but then click on "Define Movie Categories" if the "organize movies by categories" checkbox is checked.

Select all the views one at a time and verify the "Show movies in" setting matches what you expect, you can force it to "Coverflow View", or you can use "Parent View" (then it takes the checkbox setting from before) or "Last Used View" which can be handy if you do sometimes change views and like to keep that view for next time.

When you say MovPic config, you mean I have to open Mediaportal config. or this is to be done inside MediaPortal ??

I've been pulling my hair over this one too. Its a bit confusing and doesn't this "feature" (it didn't work this way before) make this button obsolete?

No, that's why there is a 'Use Parent' menu item. Category views are children to the parent, so this allows you to override per category or to use the main one set.
