Hello,

After some time I run MediaPortal, cpu and mem usage goes too high, cpu 100%, and mem about 400Mb (screenshot attached). After that I can only reboot computer, I can't kill mediaportal.exe process.
What's wrong ?
I have reinstalled windows xp pro second time in last two days and always is the same. It's working ok 1-2 hours and then cpu and mem starts to grow. All other programs and games (NFS ProStreet, Fifa08...) are working without any problem.

I don't think so, because I'm not using it and my type is hardware based mpeg1/2 card.

Have you tried with testing without an SVN added. I.E. just 0.2.3 install. does it still happen then?

My suggestions is uninstall from Add/remove programs. (maybe copy mediaportal dir first as a backup).

Then delete the mediaportal folder to ensure all files are removed.

Then install the stable release 0.2.3, configure and test.

Uninstall MP from Control Panel - Add remove programs and then reinstall 0.2.3.

That OS looks more like Vista than XP... are you sure you're not on Vista? Or are you using some kind of emulator to make XP look like that?

Hehe, it's WinXP with installed VistaAero theme. Actually, nothing specially. :)

I have changed MediaPortal theme to nativ "BlueTwo Wide" theme and for now it's working without any problem last 4-5 hours....
