Crash on scanning for channels (1 Viewer)

I don't have any antivirus-program on the PC, as it's not connected to the internet. So for me that's not the problem. There seems to be a problem with the sapphire 550 card on the TV-server.

Is this a registered bug? I can't find anything in Mantis about the 550 cards.

well, in that case there are 2 (separate, but similarly presenting) bugs...

OK, I think I've managed to find a workaround (well, atleast for Norton-related bugs)

Un install Mediaportal completely (using add-remove) and then delete the mediaportal folder in program files (this part is crucial). Then re-install, run the channel scan wizard in the set up wizard (not the main program) and all is well!

That's good to hear!
However, i'm still in a pickle.
I'm getting: Unable to connect capture-> MPEG2 demultiplexer.
Both in XP and Vista when trying to scan with the TV Engine 3.
TV Engine 2 Works just fine.
