after mediaportal crashes if i open mediaportal, the same happens and a reboot i necessary, after that no problem before next standby / resume.

    i have this also
im using a a tv server pc and a client pc (over ethernet)

i have found if it hit a combination of "stop", "windows-home" and "back" on my remote i find myself back at the home screen!
if i pick a channel inside the epg i get sound and a black screen
then i stop the tv streaming to the client(notification popups still appear- to tell me im stopping the timeshift)
i pick the channel again from the epg ... all is working again ... until the next time it wants to glitch out

    starvin86: Welcome! :)
I'm sorry but I actually don't see any crashes in your logs. The logs are quite old though - from 1st September. Are you sure these are the correct logs, and are you still having problems?

SiLenTYL: You've posted in 3 similar threads now but I still haven't seen logs from you. Logs are the only way I can confirm what is happening for you... which may well be different to the problems that other people are experiencing.

mm1352000 Yes i still happens every day, the funny thing is it don't actually crash but freez. then i use task manager (it says Guide/epg not responding) to end process and the log collecter starts. i'll tri to get new logs as soon as possible.

I haven't looked at your logs (mainly because I am not a Dev, so not an expert), but I have had seen on two different installations a problem with the TV service fails during EPG grabbing before going into standby and then doesn't work after resume.

I found that removing the option for "CRC Check" within the TV Service DVB EPG grabber fixed the problem. It may be that your DVB supplier does not support CRC.
