Synopsis:: -

After a complete new install of my computer I had to install MP also again.
When I first started MP and I tried to open MyTV I got a crash with the following Windows Logbook message (with the source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error):
Faulting application mediaportal.exe, version 0.0.0.0, stamp 43a3e657, faulting module mpeg2decfilter.ax, version 1.0.0.0, stamp 426d4e3b, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001c601.

So I changed to the Intervideo decoder, which results in the following message:
Faulting application mediaportal.exe, version 0.0.0.0, stamp 43a3e657, faulting module ivivideo.ax, version 7.0.27.130, stamp 43707b3a, debug? 0, fault address 0x00009b3c.

After that I changed to the DScaler decoder and up till now MyTV and the Radio works.

Does anybody have any idea what went wrong and are there any solutions, especially because the
Intervideo decoder is havenly recommended on this forum?

BTW, Frodo once wrote
Actually, the best mpeg2 codec i found is the Intervideo mpeg2 codecs which come with WinDVD 6
I still only can fiend the version 7.x. Does anybody know where the version 6 is to become?

Thnx i.a.

Intervideo windvd 7 works just as well as 6 or you could try the Nvidia codecs as well.
As I mentioned in my early message:

The module ivivideo.ax is the WinDVD 7 videodecoder and my machine crashed on that . Tonight I will try both decoders again en see if my computer still crashes on them.

Club3D ZAP1000 and Radio

Hi richber,
I am interested in buying a ZAP1000 and have a question on the radio side. I see you seem to have got it working but the capture card reference page https://www.team-mediaportal.com/dokuw/install/capturecards/start says n/a against Radio for that Card. The page translates n/a as "n/a - not applicable (card does not have this functionality)"

I have checked the spec of the card and it says it does have radio.
Can you confirm that it does have Radio and you got it working and if so is it just a small error on the Capture Cards reference page.

I am also using the latest release 0.1.3 if that makes any difference

Thanks
Frank
