Trakt for MediaPortal is fully translatable and we need your help to create translations in your native language.
Here is a step by step guide on helping us achieve this goal:
1. Install Trakt if not already installed.
2. Download the Language Tool attached to this thread.
3. Extract the archive to disk and Launch the Language Tool.
4. Click on Browse button to select the Primary Language File.
5. Select the Trakt\en-US.xml file from the Browse File dialog, you should open directly to the base languages folder.
6. Enter a Local Language that you want to translate in the Select Local Language box.
7. Click the Load button. If it's a new translation, then a new file will be created for you.
8. Each row that appears in Yellow means there is no translation yet available, to create a translation for a string you need to click on the Local Language field.
9. Enter the local translation for the string selected.
10. Repeat steps 8-9 for each translation missing.
11. Once you have completed all translations, click on the Save button.
12. Now in explorer browse to your Trakt language folder and you should find the corresponding language file has been generated/updated.
13. You can now create a new post in this forum thread and attach the language file so we can include it in our release package.
Please remember to keep any newline (\n) placeholders, you can change their position based on length of translation. Newlines are used in Dialogs where you can have up to 4 lines of text. Also its very very important not to remove any string format placeholders like ({0}, {1}).
Thanks trevor for spending some time to create this very useful tool.
