Windows also report that my Onkyo is connected although the signal is configured to pass through. I just checked my drivers, (I'm actually using a GT 240 and not a 430) Using NVIDIA 9.18.13.697 from 2012-10-02.

I would definitely try without VNC when playing with the screen resolution, remove as much error sources as possible.

I managed to fix the "UVC problem" by turning off the "fast browsing" feature that did put Windows 7 in Basic colour mode.

I'm gonna snag those drivers, thank you. (Edit: Those aren't available for my card, gonna go ahead and use some from the closest date though)

GeForce nvidia drivers are unified. Get the one for your OS eg. Win 7 64-bit .. It doesn't matter what card u have.. It's all te same install.

No. Drivers are the same.

Yes. After the start windows will come up with "new hardware detected" and then the drivers will be installed automatically.
