Sounds like you've installed the new TBS method, re-installed scanned all channels without ticking the Set Modulation to "Not Set" for SD channels.
Delete the database. Tick this option and rescan.
Yep you were right! Many thanks DJBlu once again.
However, I remember the reason I reinstalled everything a few weeks ago now because the same problem has just cropped up. At first (with a fresh DB and scan) all the channels are grouped correctly but after a few hours, or days in some cases, loads of channels start to go missing from the groups and I think on some previous occasions they have become mixed up into the wrong groups. I've dropped the DB (mySQL) and done a fresh rescan a few times now but the problems always return eventually. It's like the DB is becoming corrupted during some of the routine scans....
Anyone else experienced this? I was thinking that I should perhaps try MS SQL instead of MySQL?

EPG update problem:-
I never used to switch off my MediaPortal PC, I simply stopped the Tv and left the main menu on-screen. With this I had the DJBlu's EPG update through the night....always worked.....perfect.
However, now I hibernate the PC at night, and when the PC is on during the day there is usually a TV program running. No matter what I try DJBlu's EPG will not update. I have installed PowerScheduler++ and tried everything.
I have 3 cards (3 lnb's at 28.2e) in my machine and just expected the EPG to update using one of the redundant cards (they are all checked in the config).
Any ideas?..............it's a pain to drop out to the desktop and run a grab now every week or so.
I am running MP 1.2.1.

There is a known issue where I believe all cards have to be free before EPG grabbing happens
Sounds...and is crazy..... that it can not use one of the spare cards. It was being looked at/fixed but not sure where it went....

So, I wonder then if DJBLu's has considered writing a small MP plugin so that the EPG can be updated via MP's menu's.
If there's a call that can be made externally to kick off a GRAB NOW then I'd gladly write a wee VisualC# plugin.

Thought I would post to save people time, git merge fails on 1.2.3 base so unlikely to work without code changes
