Has no one else had their schedules disappearing? I am not sure if it's re tuning or recording 1 episode then cancelling the series link.

Yes, that happened to me - it seems to be fixed with the latest files in the first post though.

The other problem I mentioned above with a channel looping is still there though (I had hoped that changing the cards idle behaviour would have fixed it, but no...)

Not sure if this is a general MP problem or a plugin problem - haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else either, so I may take my client offline and see if the problem goes away..

I think the error before was a red herring, caused by when I force stop the TV Service. Any ideas?

The error I though was the problem before [scheduler thread(17)]: card: unable to connect to slave controller at:10.0.1.1 was definitely caused by me stopping TVService, nothing to worry about on that one. However...

I'm still getting this issue in the TSWriter logs

    Code:
01-06-2011 20:01:04.386 !!! CSectionDecoder::OnTsPacket Entered infinite loop. pid: 11 start: 12 BufferPos: 5 SectionLength: 2 - Discarding section and moving to next packet
01-06-2011 20:01:04.588 !!! CSectionDecoder::OnTsPacket Entered infinite loop. pid: 11 start: 12 BufferPos: 5 SectionLength: 2 - Discarding section and moving to next packet
01-06-2011 20:01:04.885 !!! CSectionDecoder::OnTsPacket Entered infinite loop. pid: 11 start: 13 BufferPos: 6 SectionLength: 3 - Discarding section and moving to next packet
01-06-2011 20:01:05.88 !!! CSectionDecoder::OnTsPacket Entered infinite loop. pid: 11 start: 13 BufferPos: 6 SectionLength: 3 - Discarding section and moving to next packet

Followed by this in the TV log:

    Code:
    2011-06-01 20:01:04.292400 [(25)]: Controller: StartTimeShifting started on card:2 to F:\timeshift\live2-0.ts.tsbuffer
2011-06-01 20:01:05.556000 [(9)]: Custom Data Grabber Error : Index was outside the bounds of the array.
2011-06-01 20:01:05.556000 [(9)]: Sky Plugin : Error Occured:- Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Any ideas what's causing it DJBlu? The plugin creates a TSfile in my timeshifting directory and I can watch TV on my DVB-S2 card no problem so I don't think it's signal problems. I get the error if I try and grab anything with the plugin, EPG, channels etc. I'm stumped.

Have you tried scanning channels with the DVB-S Scanner?

Pid 11 looks like the culprit here which carries the channel data, this is usually caused by a low/bad signal.

    OK now for something weird.

Checked all my connections, all OK, tried grabbing - same error.

Scanned the transponder 11778000 as a manual scan, quality was 100% found two channels, 1 TV and update 1 radio (guessing the sky epg scanner) hit Grab EPG again and now it's working... I'll attach the logs when it's done!

OK all is now good! WAF has gone through the roof :)

Logs attached, hopefully it will shed some light on as to why it wasn't working before. I can only imagine that the scan I did either update the grabber channel details with something the plugin did not, or initialized the card in a way that the grabber didn't before. God knows (or DJBlu :p). Working Logs attached

Thanks for all your help, much appreciated! :D

The problems have started again :(

I switched on the HTPC this evening, tried to tune to BBC One HD had the error "No free card available" tried a couple of times no joy. Checked the TV server and there were over 20 instances of the Custom Data Grabber on my DVB-S2 card! It wouldn't stop until I stopped the TV service and disabled the plugin. Logs attached.
