Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (8 Viewers)

Thanks icam2, I've just taken a look and its set to Simple A which is correct for my setup.

There doesn't appear to be able problem with tuning in general on my DVB-S, since if I look on 'manual control' under the tv server configuration program, I can see the cards go red as the EPG tries to tune (and fails) - if I get my timing right (ie. before the EPG tries again), and start timeshifting a 'normal' tv channel that uses DVB-S it tunes OK on the same cards...

Just to confirm, the settings that show in the Sky UK Grabber mapping are; Freq - 11778000, Smbl Rate - 27500, TransID - 2004, ServID - 4152, Diseqc - Simple A, Polarisation - Horiz, Modulation - ModNotSet.

Polarisation - Should be vertical mate thats why your having problems. All the rest are ok make sure you drop the old channel after setting the correct polarization.

Working fine now i've set it to vertical.

I have just reinstalled win and the 1.3 alpha with the latest grabber and am getting an error saying the logo directory is empty and to resolve then regrab - any ideas what I have done? The folder exists and has the Svhs and composite icons in there from the clean install

You need to add the location of where your logos are stored default is C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\tv\logos
You could also untick Download logos and overwrite existing logos

@DJBlu given the hints that 1.3b will be released this weekend, will your current code on git merge against this?

Or will we need to wait for you to do some work?

I'm looking at doing a completely fresh install with Win 8 and 1.3b but don't want to be doing it right on top of Christmas if I can help it!

Does the grab every x hours work?

I had it set when I re setup last week and no data appeared in the guide yesterday (I presume 7 days had past). Have changed to wake up and grab at 3 am instead.

I also have issues with the system failing to wake up properly, either tv service not running or mepo has crashed, started doing it since I updated the grabber on 2 systems.

Ill grab logs this eve, just wondering if anyone seen similar issues since updating

Ive been trying to use the SKY EPG grabber and cant get it working whatsoever. Im using the correct files from page 1 and installed in the correct order. Yet when i activate the plugin in TV Setup and click to grab data it does nothing.. Please can anyone help me. ive attatched the full logs and epg log. Im using the Standard files from page 1. If i try to check the sky epg grabber i always get no signal detected.

Under EPG, radio channels, do you have Sky UK Grabber channel ticked? I find it does nothing unless I have that box ticked.
