It depends what region you use. My local region also does not contains itv1 hd so the only way to make it stay there is to scan the channel in by hand that way the sky grabber plugin wont remove it.

If thats north west as in yorkshire then no its not in your region as far as i can tell. so thats why you keep losing it.

even if you move it into the groups by hand it will get removed next time the plugin scans the channels. Thats not a bug thats the way it works.

Your need to manually add the channel.

Here are the transponder settings

Transponder ID 2056
Service ID 3852

Add it by hand and the grabber wont remove it.

No they dont seam to carry it. As i say if your ok about doing a manual add then do that. You may or may not get EPG data is hard to say

GranadaHD Carry ITV1 HD channel 178 is what im seeing here.

I had to make some changes on my TVServer and wiped the radio channels, I have toggled the card mapping in the plugin (Sky UK) and the channel is listed again - however I get 'NoSignalDetected'.

I tried to change the ServiceID from 4152 to 4189 in the card mapping (after deleting the grabber channel) but the channel always gets created with 4152...
If I re-open the tv server configuration the serviceID has been reverted back to 4152 again :-s

Also, it seems that because the ServiceID is wrong, and it can't get a signal it's locking out both of my DVB-S tuners... I see in the log that it's trying card 1, failing to lock, trying card 2, failing to lock - then retries all cards again, and so on.. this means 99% of the time, I can't tune DVB-S because it seems to lock the card while trying to tune.

I've updated to the latest version of the plugin (.33) but it's still the same - any ideas ?

I had exactly the same problem last week, DJBlu managed to sort it, but it seems his suggestions to me last week have been removed. So you will have to wait his response as i cant remember what i did. Sorry

Thanks JoeF - Hopefully there is any easy solution
I even tried directly changing the Service ID to 4189 in the settings table of MP's database but it switched it back to 4152 as soon as I opened the plugin

@swifty Check the diseqc settings for the radio channel if its on simple B then change it to none or simple A. Both SIDS 4152 and 4189 are both working ok.
