Hi,

Am i correct in saying, I need to install the 1.3 beta first, then the relevant files on page 1?

Will it be fine, just to update the existing install or does it all need to be fresh? thanks

After deleting my channels and re-grabbing, it has been working ok so much easier to setup MePo now, love it!

A question - does this or could this do anything with the radio channels?

Amazing plugin, i'm looking at moving from Windows Media Center. Getting so fed-up with having to manually update my satalite channels in media center.

Installed 1.3 beta with the instructions on page one and is working great. Only issue is that it is not hiding the encrypted channels, any ideas?

Just need to fix my stuttering hd channels and i'm ready to give on media center. Very impressed with the mediaportal interface, it has come a long way from when I installed it back in 2007.

I left mce over a year ago for the same reason tv source was promising a solution for tracking channel movements was in the works - guess it still isn't

As for the scrambled channels, there is A box you can tick, off the top of my head: delete scrambled channels - under the sky grabber settings or is that not working? (I have a sky card so no need for me to remove so I have never used it)

Yep, I had been hanging about for tvsource to implement the channel movements. Q2 2013 now apparently. EPGCollector are also hinting it may be possible. One day maybe.

I had the box ticked to ignore the scrambled channels, but they are still there.

Hmm that's 1 for djblu to check I guess unless anyone can verify it

Try this though: if you go into the tv channels section in the tv config, you should see 2 buttons for scrambled channels, uncheck and delete

Try pressing the uncheck button, this should hide all scrambled channels. Don't press delete as it will just re add on the next scan

I know very little about SQL!

My new server is built and I am ready to stick MP on, but need to use MS SQL..

I know why this error occurs and have been ultra careful not to make the same mistake again. Not careful enough.

I'll install MSSQL on my rig upstairs and make sure it works.

I'll sort it and upload a new file later.

Cool - I think from my little knowledge of SQL (even though I maintained many SQL servers in my time!) I just needed to execute UPDATE Version SET versionNumber=62 to fix it, but I'll hang on for a new installer.

I've installed the basic beta but not launched it yet..

Did you tick the ignore scrambled channels in the scanner? And if so it still added scrambled channels?
