Hi,

Am i correct in saying, I need to install the 1.3 beta first, then the relevant files on page 1?

Will it be fine, just to update the existing install or does it all need to be fresh? thanks

You must install 1.3 Beta first. Then the installers over the top.

hi ok stupid question but most of the channels this tunes in for me claim to have no signel an I doing someitng wrong? I have just upgraded to beta 1.3 and i Have swithced from the rival sky data grabber I am also running a freesat rig i.e. no cam or decoding. (its not encriped channles that dont work BTW)

Try this:

Clear all your channels.
Tick the "Set Modulation to Not Set for SD Channels"
Scan again.

I know very little about SQL!

My new server is built and I am ready to stick MP on, but need to use MS SQL..

Fixed - New Files on post 1. Download both MediaPortal installer and TV Server installer.

Yep, I had been hanging about for tvsource to implement the channel movements. Q2 2013 now apparently. EPGCollector are also hinting it may be possible. One day maybe.

I had the box ticked to ignore the scrambled channels, but they are still there.

Fixed - Download v1.2.0.35. It will now ignore scrambled channels.

Still seems to say failed to upgrade database? Unless I am doing something daft?[DOUBLEPOST=1355779212][/DOUBLEPOST]Actually I clicked the main links instead of the separate files on the first page - will try again!

I am using MSSQL 2012, dunno if that makes any difference?

That would do it ... or in SQL management studio, right click the version table, choose "Edit top 200 rows" and type 62 instead of 61. There's only 1 row in the table, so difficult to go wrong.

Only problem is, I installed the basic SQL Express, and there doesn't appear to be any management tools with this version!

Ah ... that makes it a little more tricky then.

You could download the full version from MS and install it with tools but DJBlu said he was fixing this so maybe easier to let him sort it. It might even be quicker
