Yep, I had been hanging about for tvsource to implement the channel movements. Q2 2013 now apparently. EPGCollector are also hinting it may be possible. One day maybe.

I had the box ticked to ignore the scrambled channels, but they are still there.

Hi,

Did you tick the ignore scrambled channels in the scanner? And if so it still added scrambled channels?

Yes box was ticked, but I took onelegends advice and unticked all the scrambled channels from the tv channels section and they are now hidden.

That would do it ... or in SQL management studio, right click the version table, choose "Edit top 200 rows" and type 62 instead of 61. There's only 1 row in the table, so difficult to go wrong.

Not sure what's happened, but that no longer works with the latest files uploaded by @DJBlu
I can make the modification to the table, but then TV Server config won't open.[DOUBLEPOST=1355787879][/DOUBLEPOST]Never mind.. had to use SA account :-P

Still no go.. right, I'm off to bed! Editing 61 to 62 doesn't work.. Still get an error saying failed to upgrade database when I try to open TV Config.. :-(

Is the error still the same - something like "Failed to upgrade database"[DOUBLEPOST=1355788443][/DOUBLEPOST]What are the sql errors in TV.log?

I figured out how to save the change ( press enter lol!) but no different.. Still get problems..

Something more inherent is wrong I think, will have to wait for DJBlu to resolve :)

    Night all!

Hmm ... not sure what DJBlu has tried to do there.

In the old version the final few sql commands failed because the columns they tried to add already existed, then the update to version 62 failed with a syntax problem. Since no new columns were needed it was easy to make setuptv skip past the sql commands by manually updating the version to 62.

With this version the alter table statements are also failing with syntax errors and he isn't moving the version on to 62 anymore. I'm not sure why. Bottom line though - you can't use the same trick to get this version working.

If you still have the original 1.3beta update files from yesterday (v1.2.200.456) you should still be able to start from scratch with them, do the manual update to version 62 and have everything work.

Yeah. It's late now anyway. He'll have another version out for tomorrow.

Just out of interest, does that TBS quad card work well for you? I tried one, but had tuning/diseqc issues in MP1.2

I had 2 x TBS6981 cards, and then I went to 1 x 6981 and a 6984. Today I have dropped down to just the 6984 - I am sure I read somewhere that it could do more than one channel per tuner depending on transponder, but don't seem to be able to figure it..

The 6984 is superb - would thoroughly recommend it..

Have just moved it into a new Node 304 Mini-ITX case in the living room (much more wife friendly than the Fractal R4 I was using!)

Just interested to get the TV up and running now, so I can see how this 3570K deals with interlaced HD..
