I do not have any duplicate channels of channel 4, more4, e4, etc either, I'm in BBC West region if that helps eliminate any regional problem.

@DJBlu. I have all the latest patches and versions running and I'm getting a lot of lock ups and server crashes with the plugin enabled. When I disable it the problem goes away. System Specs in user info. It's a clean install.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I've been getting tvserver crashes with the plugin enabled when it starts to automatically grab the EPG since the 1.3b builds including .459 and .35 and unsure if it is my setup or the plugin, it is resolvable but I think this is the problem pulled from log:
2012-12-23 00:16:24.705246 [(16)]: Tvservice stopped due to an unhandled app domain exception System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'D:\Timeshift\Custom_1.ts

I had seen the post about tswriter issues earlier and thought it may be related so tired again with v3 of the modified file but that also crashes in the same way.

If I use the default tswriter then the fix for myself is that I store the timeshift files on a local drive but not where the MePo install resides, if I swap timeshift back to my c: drive where the tvserver is installed then there are no more crashes.

Thought it may help others......

Hmmm is the 2nd hdd asleep when it tries to create the time shift file?

Hi,

Thanks for suggestion but it shouldn't have been, it is set on default 20min but I had copied the new tswriter from that drive to my c: drive and then started the tvservice straight afterwards when it had the same effect.

I never had this prob up until the 1.3b builds.

I'll change the power settings so the HDD's are on permanent and report back.

Don't use any files outside of this thread. They will not work.

Install as instructed from the first post. The reason for the error is because the TSWriter that I am modding from another thread is NOT compatible with this modification.

After installing, turn off HDD Spin down and it should fix your problem.

I am working on many projects at the moment m8, they are not linked to each other.

If the TSWriter fix works then I'll include it in this later on.

Yeah cool cheers, first time I've tried the modified tswriter file yesterday, got an email from the board and thought this is the only thread I'm watching so assumed it was related lol the probs have been since 1.3b.

Turned spindown off, restarted the server pc, refreshed the EPG and crashed the tvserver again.

Here you go dude,

I did get the same error on the c: drive just then but I changed the timeshift folder in the middle of the EPG grab with the plugin running and then when I restarted the service properly it has been running fine again on the c: drive since.
