Ok I think I 've found out what the problem is. It relates to my HD being powered down when the grabber is trying to update the epg. I've got three HDs in this Machine. A boot SSD, the main Data HD and a scratch disk that has the Timeshiftbufer on it. It seems that they all need to be awake for the grab to successfully complete. It also seems to stop the constant crashes. Would there be a way to check for this and switch on the disks as needed?

Maybe try a full uninstall of mepo, when it pops up with database window, click test connection and then click delete

Then proceed with a clean 1.3 beta install and then the custom data grabber from post 1 if you want and as per instructions

If you still have issues post logs

Normally the hard disks do wake when a file is attempting to write to it, the issue is probably due to them taking a while to fire up.

Can you not set them to stay awake?

Did all that same problem, I looked for *.log files in mepo install folders but got no results, if you could point me to the default location I would be happy to post them.

    Thanks in advance.

All my scheduled recordings failed today. When I look at the scheduled recordings, nothing is listed unless I press Series, and then everything is listed with "Video Stream" next to it instead of a channel name.

I deleted all the scheduled recordings, and readded them, and they still don't work - still instead of the channel name to be recorded from, they have "Video Stream"

Any idea? I haven't changed anything since yesterday and they were working then..

Cheers..[DOUBLEPOST=1356638885][/DOUBLEPOST]Logs attached - seems to think I have two servers for some reason?
