I have 5 tuners so yes. As long as the tuner is available then it will work. There shouldn't be any disruption to any clients.

Oh it works, I just usually (if not always) get dropped packets or disruption whilst watching live TV. Possibly related to increased CPU usage, dunno. It doesn't ever get to 100% though.

It is hardly likely to be a resources issue; I also have SSDs in all my systems and gigabit LAN. Like I said, CPU usage increases a lot but never to 80+%.

Am running 1.4.0.16 on MP1.4, but today noticed that a few HD channels had no EPG.....re-scanned but still nothing....and those channels were dead, then noticed under TV CHANNELS there were two of each of those particular channels so swapped them out for the copies and rescanned......everything working again. I notice also that many, many of my channels are numbered "10000".....and I notice here that Benoire (NZ) mentioned something about 10000.

I'm in UK.

Am thinking I may need to delete all channels then rescan from scratch.......unless there's an issue?

Sky is currently shuffling around HD channels to squeeze more in each transponder. This is probably the cause of what you've seen.

The plugin is remaining as is as I don't have time to look into it. I think you are getting confused with the two systems. There is no EIT data transmitted on the OpenTV system. Take a look at the mpeg2 specification for information about EIT. If there is no data for a channel then it isn't available. Simple as. The plugin will provide you with all the data that is available with the exception of box office event summaries.

Sorry I never intended for the post to sound like a feature request, I'm extremely happy that I have now have a system that can read the Sky channels correctly and move them around! It's pretty freakin' cool and I really have run out of superlatives to describe what you have done...

Thank you for all your hard work and it is appreciated. I've now got friends interested in ditching the crappy PVR boxes that we have to pay monthly sub for!

I'm in Italy and I would like to use the Sky IT Plugin for MediaPortal 1.4, but I see that it is stopped. Who developed the version 1.2.0.5, you may continue the project? To those who post the logs for the operation?

I have added a new Sky Italy grabber on the first page.

Please try it out and let me know if it works for you. I have tested it here and it is working great.

The version you need to download is Sky IT EPG and Channel grabber v1.4.0.1.

Uploaded a new Sky UK Grabber on page 1. Version is now 1.4.0.1

It fixes the following

Version number updated to match the latest TV Sever.
SDT is scanned correctly.
Plugin setting conflict.
Grab (seconds) not stored.
Duplicate channels being added should be fixed.
Fixed channels remaining on 10000.

If you install this plugin over another then you will have to clear your channels, correct your settings and rescan. This is to ensure the channels do not get added twice.

Hmm I stopped TV Service, closed TV Server Config, replaced the Sky UK Grabber dll and restarted the TV Service. I set up the Sky UK Grabber settings like I had it before, and now nothing happens when I click "Grab Now". :/

I think it is doing something, since MySQL is running, but the Sky UK Grabber log window shows nothing.

EDIT: Yep, it definitely updated the EPG, and running it a second time shows correctly in the log window. I guess I'll just put it down to a quirk.

You haven't stated whether you cleared your channels or not.

If you haven't then they won't update as I have changed something in the code.
