Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (3 Viewers)

Morning buddy.

I would install the full custom install I posted a few pages back, https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...annel-epg-grabber.96767/page-287#post-1081495 as this has the custom mods installed. Once installed, copy the custom data grabber.dll to main directory and the sky plugin to the plugin directory. Run and active the plugin like you did, restart TVServer and all should be good.

This will give you a 1.7.1 install with the custom data mods active.

I'll uninstall / re-install, try what you said and report back.

I also had an error that there were no cards available when I was trying one of the earlier versions of the plugin - are there any other steps I'm missing?

If it matters, I'm using a WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2 and Windows 8.1

I'm presuming you are in the UK, so make sure you are using v1.4.0.6 posted or you could do me a favour and try my version posted a few pages back as a test; it pretty much is the same code except it is missing some of the channel logo bits... but apart from that, if the tuner works in MP normal then it will work fine here as it relies on the main code to access the tuners.

Rightio, UK peeps please... Can you tell me what the network ID is for the FTA channels such as the BBC lot? You'll be looking in the edit section of tvchannels to find this. I'm hoping that it is NOT the same id as the BSkyB channels.

Hope this is of some use to you, I've exported the tuningdetails from the SQL DB to a CSV. So there is plenty of information for you to look at if you need it

Thanks buddy. I'm trying to fix some issues in a plugin for another country but I'm running in to duplicated FTA channels and need to check why the UK one works fine.

Nope all good, basically the data gave me exactly what I needed to know... All the UK FTA channels are on the same network as the Sky channels but here in NZ the FTA are on a different networkid and so the plugin was ignoring their status and just adding them again. I've added networkid = 169 or networkid = 47 and it works, no more replicated FTA channels!

Hi there, I tested your build and it works fine - and I also think I discovered what made it stop working. I use MDAPI on my satellite card, and when that is enabled the grabber just stops working. When you click 'grab now' it does nothing at all..

Could it be coincidence?

It shouldn't as I'm using a similar setup in NZ and the grabbing code is fundamentally the same and mine works fine, post the logs and I'll have a look.
