Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (5 Viewers)

Is it possible that the sky italy plugin does not work with latest patch and latest custom datagrabber? Will try with the old datgrabber tonight...

I am fixing this today.

I will be implementing all the fixed bugs from the Sky UK version and will release a version today. I don't have access to 13e during the week, only at weekends.

Just make sure you have all the correct files installed

Just double checked and I've got all three installed as they should and still the crash occurs. I also made sure I'd deleted the database before installing the new TVServer file.

Hi guys,

I thought I would give this a try now, as it seems to have bedded down

But unfortunately I can not get it to work

Was the issue with Hauppauge cards ever fixed? (what should the correct config be??)

I get a mixture of failure results... I have tried setting the cards to have SimpleA set in main tuner section, I have tried setting SimpleA in the grabber section. Results vary from being able to watch channels, but EPG does not actually populate (even though it says its grabbed the data), to the grabber saying NoSignal - but yet there is from Manual Control! through to not being able to watch a channel at all!

I will try and upload some logs later.

ps - I dont have any issues when using the DigitalDevices card in another machine.

I don't know why but your card is suffering with the pid 11

Can you check your connections.

I'll upload a version of the Sky UK Grabber with extra protection but there is an underlying problem with your signal.

I've checked all the connections they all seem fine. The signal from the dish seems to be OK, the card reports 100% quality, 100% signal most of the time (I know to take that with a pinch of salt). I have no problems/breakup viewing any channels with the card, even the crappy old Sky box I have has no problems with it. It's odd that it's just that PID it has problems with - yet I had no problems with the previous method of grabbing an EPG. Worked 100%. I'm Stumped!

Perhaps it's a FloppyDTV driver problem? Buggered if it is as they don't make it anymore!

It is baffling.

I don't know if changes in the SVN are causing it, but infinite loops are usually down to corrupt Packets, lack of signal or otherwise.

Can you scan channels normally?

If so can you scan a couple of transponders and upload your TSWriter.log.

I've found 1.2.0.13 to be rock solid so far, no issues at my end I'm pleased to report
