Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (7 Viewers)

Attached is a set of log files. With the channels having PMT=0, I get "No Signal" when I run the test channels.
This is done from a clean database.

"LockedInOnSignal could not lock onto channel - no signal or bad signal"

If I do a manual scan over the top, the PMT values get populated, and I get a better result (although not perfect as I get a number of PMT time out errors)
"Timed out waiting for PMT after 10.000384 seconds. Increase the PMT timeout value?" (log files not included but can add if needed)

Try changing the Diseqc to "SimpleA" on your DVB-S card to see if this solves it.

Tried with SimpleA, but same issue ("LockedInOnSignal could not lock onto channel - no signal or bad signal").
Even tried dropping the database and doing a new scan from scratch. I've done several runs (as there is also a Diseqc setting in the Plugin as well as the TV Servers tab)

When I run the normal scanner, I can get a signal on most channels (however, there is with a different issue that seems a bit intermittent whereby some channels come up as "No PMT found")

Hi DJBlu just a quick question about the patch on page one is it only for revision 27982. I've just patched and complied the latest head revision and it goes fine. installs fine but when i run the sky uk plugin i get unable to start graph.

Tried it, sorry to say SetupTV crashed again with this version. Logs attached.

Out of interest/desperation I tried Miroslav's version from the other thread for 1.2.0, that seems to still work for the EPG without any issues. I've attached the log for that too.

I finally got some time to toy around with this plugin.

I like it alot, but it still has the age old problem of older 1st attempt incarnations for me, lots of channels with all the correct parameters except PMT=0 which prevents the channels from working. When it sort's channels it moved and doesn't copy, it moves channels out of my favourites channels list.

The PMT will never be added by the plugin, the tswriter should scan the PAT when you tune to the channel and update it. This was added a long time ago.

Can you upload your log files.

No need, I was trying to preview the channels in setup tv and was thinking what, not again. I'll give it a try in media portal proper sometime later.

Cant use patch as mepo say not 64bit is their an alternative patch anywhere?
Also can i make a suggestion of prefixing a number infront of the link to the file download to denote the order in which to install.

MP is a 32 bit application and a patch is just a text file.
The patches do not need applying in an order as they just change the source code from a particular version.

I am renaminig the patch with a ".exe" extension then running, this is where i am getting an error message about 32 and 64 bit operating system version conflicts. maybe this is not the correct way to install these patches????
I am running win7 64bit

Are you referring to the files with the .patch extension? If so, you can't just rename and execute them. As jameson_uk said, these files are text files containing changes to MP's _source_ files. To use them, you need to grab the source code from SVN, apply the patches and recompile MP (Compiling - MediaPortal Wiki).

I think I found a problem with your patch. Some channels are tuned but I cannot see anything (for instance Italia1 or Sky TG24). This with last SVN 27992 and your patch for last SVN applied and compiled.

If I revert to stock SVN with the same tvdb I have no problem with the same channels.

Other channels work (like sky uno for instance) or sky sport HD.

I post full logs.

I've also got the scanner crashing out the TV service every half day or so.
