If you don't mind me asking, do your SVN's overwrite TSReader.ax.............reason I ask is because playing back recordings and using FFWD is very stuttery/jumpy/freezes.
I remember on 1.2alpha it was the same but dropping in a hacked version from the forums made it very smooth......so either your install sets it back, or the working TSReader.ax never made it to 1.2RC (which I suspect!).

I have made no changes to the TSReader however a new one is installed when you run the SVN installer.

I would be careful using an older version of the TSReader with newer SVN's as it can cause unwanted errors.

If you can get a patch file for the code changes I can take a look at putting it into the RC1 and uploading a new TSReader.

The patch file and binaries are located here.

There's more files to modify than just TSReader.tx, but it all depends on what version of MP you are looking to fix in terms of the FFWD bug. For 1.2RC all I needed was the TSReader.tx file.
I believe (from memory) that MP 1.1.1 was fine and it was 1.2alpha that got broken, so I remember folks were installing the .ax from 1.1.1 into 1.2a at the time.

So far so good though, the TSReader.tx file I'm using from the above link seems to have no side affects in terms of stability or functionality.

It'd be interesting to know whether any others can concurr the same issue and resolve.

I have a strange issue... series link recordings are not showing in the guide as red?

They do initially when I set one to record, but later they don't.. looks like they are not going to record, but they do and they show in scheduled...

Any ideas?

Hi DJBlu,

Oh and one other thing. I had my schedule setup to grab everyday at 5:30am (rather than the default every 3hrs), but I did not seem to be getting any epg updates, a manual grab worked fine. I've just switched to a 3hr update schedule to see if that will work. Has anyone else had problems when using a daily update schedule? I will test further when I get chance but have only just noticed this...

I also have the problem of series link recordings not showing in red. I'm currently using the default (wide) version skin. I'm using your original 1.2RC version of the plugin etc. as I've not had chance to update to a newer one yet...

I only had 1 series to record and when I added another it stopped being displayed.

Hi DJBlu,
with respect to the chan 301 thing. I tried setting things up so that the EPG grabber was configured to grab this channel and chose the option to only grab for the selected channels. At first it looked OK, but then I noticed that I was no longer getting data for any of the other channels (the ones using the skyepg grabber). It looks to me as if the sky grabber also respects the only grab the specified channels settings (even though they appear to only be for the dvb-t epg grabber). certainly if I uncheck the only grab for the specified channels I started getting epg data for the sky channels again. The problem is that without having the only grab for the specified channels option set the dvb-t epg grabber seems to over-write the data from the sky grabber (and with no series link). Not a big deal I can go back to using the web-epg for that one channel, but I thought I would let you know, how I got on...
