Hi DJBlu There still seams to be a problem with updating channels etc. Yesterday i notice that a channel changed name from something like 3891 to cartoon network HD. However cart network HD was not added to the tv guide and every scan there after said channel cartoon network HD changed name to cartoon network HD. (sadly i dont have the logs) So i deleted cartoon network HD and did a rescan and it was added correctly.

edit i've just noticed the same thing and this time its logged.

1 shows 2011-09-16 03:01:28.157269 [(20)]: Sky Plugin : Channel 3875 name changed to Disney Chnl HD. however it does not get added to the epg.

2 shows 2011-09-16 12:32:39.791485 [(11)]: Sky Plugin : Channel Disney Chnl HD name changed to Disney Chnl HD. whichs will keep happening every scan till i deleted Disney Chnl HD

3 shows a scan after i deleted Disney Chnl HD (which again is now correct in the epg).

First off thanks for the great piece of software - it really adds incredibly to the functionality of mediaportal.

I had the same problems as icam2 with the two new channels, not showing in the EPG until I had deleted and rescanned.

Additionally, as I have a Hauppage card that has problems with modulation when set to QSPK, I have the 'NoModSet' option ticked. When these channels get added the modulation is set to 'NoModSet' as expected but HD channels require modulation set to QSPK (DVB-S2) or they get the 'No Signal' issue.

It's easy enough to manually change the modulation of these channels but may be something to tackle at some point in the future. I wouldn't really want to change all the HD channels if I was doing a clean install.

There seems to be a similar issue in 'Sky UK/IT enhancements' thread from a while ago but I can't see what was causing the issue or what fixed it.

I would imagine that this needs a new SVN installer, so am holding off for a few days until this is confirmed - can't take the aggro from the missus if I have to spend an evening reinstalling everything again :0)

P.S. I am on holiday next week for 3 weeks so cannot assist with anything in the meantime. Hopefully the plugin is stable enough to run once I update the Installers.

I will leave the RC1 installers on the first page, incase it isn't. I don't forsee any issues as there are only a few minor changes in the final release.

quick question on the 1.2 based version (for when it is ready), if I have a version based on 1.2RC (actually the first 1.2RC version you released I think), can I upgrade to the the 1.2 based version, or is it safer to do a full re-install? I guess I can just try it, but if you know of any stoppers that will save me the time...

Just wondering whether to upgrade or hold fire (there's nothing really in final release to warrant an upgrade that I could see) - I have a new TBS6984 card on the way, so will prob do a rebuild when I fit that anyway..

I've just tested a series link. all 5 recordings are showing in red on each day. I'm using 1.2.0 Final with svn 28218 with DJblu's patch for series link and quick channel zapper applied to it. Also i'm using the skin streamedMP 1.7.1 Everything working as expected. I cant really share the svn that i've complied without DJBlu's permission really so if he says its ok i'll share it. cheers
