Excellent - I'm going to reinstall my setup tomorrow and have minimal plugins etc installed and run debug mode over a day so I can produce decent logs.

Note this issue I reported back on page 67 of this thread - which is around September/October time, whichever version we were using at that time

It is as you say, with default power scheduler and ++ "stable" release and the new plug and play test version.

P.S. You'll be please to know that TBS are releasing new drivers for the 6984 in 2 days so we can have faster tuning.

Well I've given up on getting this to work properly for me, as I'm going to order a new computer (my server is still a crappy P4!!). It works perfectly if I scan channels first, and only use this for EPG grabbing, and, to be honest, this is fine for me for now.

Noticed on TBS website that the driver version is now 1.0.2.0
"TBS6984 Windows Driver is updated to V1.0.2.0. which is changed Interupt mode from IRQ to MSI for Vista and Win7."
The old version was 1.0.1.8.

Doesn't sound like the step change in channel changing performance that we were looking for ... but I plan to give it a go when I get home, as I hope for something faster than 3 secs.

The one I downloaded the other day was the same version, so it's not new...

If you think this is a power scheduler fault let me know and I'll post in the power scheduler forum.

It could well be the power Scheduler as i've noticed that after 1.2.1 when my pc returns from sleep mode if i stop the tvservice and restart it i get a an error saying that its unable to connect to tvservice. However saying that both the build in scheduler and the A++ version both do it. I've tryed to trace the fault all i know is after a sleep the service fails to close down one of the ports its using port (31457) and this is causing issues and could well be causing recordings to be missed. This is nothing to do with DJBlu's coding as it happends even with the stock 1.2.2 (and 1.2.1 come to think of it) i've got some free time this weekend so i'll try to dig deeper.

I can also confirm that my joy was premature. When I restart the HTPC, next scheduled recording happens, but the one after that one does not. PowerScheduler confirms the time of recording prior to sleep, no errors are reported but the wakeup does not happen. If I start up manually, recording begins at scheduled time.. Something is wrong, tried both PowerScheduler and + version too, same result...

Fresh install - installed newest power scheduler as it shows its next wake up event.

Tried to keep it simple, let me know if you need more log data - set MP to debug mode before setting anything up.

I added a screengrab in attached file also - this shows my test.
Initially the wake up event was set to 03:00 (epg wake)
I then set via Quick record ITV news at 10 as a series link recording
Straight after Jaws the revenge is on - set this to record as record once.

Now looking at powerscheduler on right side of screen you can see the next wake up event is for Jaws, it should be ITV news.

As akiaki mentioned, if machine is left on or manually switched back on - series link entry does in fact record.

Again, let me know if more log data required or any further tests - happy to help where I can

Now i've just worked something out. I set a recording last night and my machine never woke up to record. After disabling the epg wakeup section in power scheduler i tried again and bang it woke up recorded and after went back to sleep. And the really interesting part to this is theres another plugin Called WebEPG if i set that to wake up for epg grabbing it wont wake again!!! So i seams not to be the plugins its something to do with epg grabbing auto wake up. If someone could repeat what i've done and see if you get the same results. Not sure whats causing this but its a long standing bug thats for sure. cheers

Weekly: wake up request in power scheduler
