Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (9 Viewers)

It's some time since I used the "Radio" button on MP but when I
tried it today for example with BBC R4 (and indeed all other
services) I got a "No signal" message. I'm using MP 1.2.2_FINAL
with Sky Grabber 1.2.0.27 and Custom grabber 1.0.0.3. Strangely
too when I returned from Radio to TV the TV Guide had been reset
from "All Channels" to Group 1 channels (Entertainment). However
all specified TV channels were received normally. In the TV-Server config
all the radio channels I wanted had been ticked both in the
listing and the EPG. Has anyone had this problem? By the way I
also use the RadioTime plugin and it works fine for all services.

I don't like saying I told you so but ..

This is the reason I based everything on the SVN as there are now ..

I will be releasing a version based on the git master and that will get support. When and if all bugs are fixed on the TBS driver I will merge it.

Sounds like the best way forwards.

Also, is there a plan for getting this code into the main releases in the future?

I got Radio services back again by re-scanning some channels. The comment on the Radiotime plugin was of course on irrelevant since it uses the internet source. However I'm still finding that when the MP Radio button is used the TV Guide gets reset to Group 1.

Update with regards to TBS lock ups - none since I sorted my card reader out, running very well here atm.

Testing on 3 diff spec systems (all with TBS 6981).

On a side note - anyone mind me sending them a pm regarding compiling, struggling to compile TV server (master) - am currently noob
Client appears to compile ok

Edit: Ignore this - I setup a dual boot and installed 32bit and it compiles fine now

Just a quick update. I've updated my computer to Win7 and everything works PERFECTLY now. My only problem with my setup now is that I struggled to get SQLExpress to work properly on the server side, so I've gone back to using MySQL. My new computer arrives soon, so any performance issues with that should hopefully disappear.

Well.. my new clean build is so flaky it crashes or hangs mutiple times each day now.. It also crashes if you go from watching a movie in Moving Pictures to TV..

Missus has lost patience, so gonna have to do a clean install again! Are the files on the first post stable and working ok? I ask because there were further builds posted towards the end of the thread..

Files on front page are good for me 168?

Been running good for last week or so since I installed. No crashes or tv glitches

Edit: I think I tried the newer versions a page or so back and failed to install, version mismatch between tv/client

Are you using the fast zapping drivers? 168 is for 1.2.2? Or 1.2.0?

Yes using fast zap, driver and copy tbsciapi in to mepo install dir- installed 168 over top of 1.2.2.
Think the git compiles with 120 as name, confusing I know
