With the Anime Plugin the standard black background gives some troubles (all too dark) so I tried to change this manually:

I tried to modify the corresponding xml-files of the plugin pointing to a different background.

    from <texture>background.png</texture>
    to: <texture>anime_background.png</texture>

Unfortunately this seems not to work as I get still the default black background.

Did I miss something, - maybe there is even a better way?

    Thanks in advance,

I observed this effect with a renamed Blue3Wide background.png which I copied in the ..skins\streamedmp\media folder.

I just tried to point to 1 of the SteamedMP backgrouds which is working on the other hand.

    Cheers

I know I'll need to make a picutre in png format and put it in the media folder, right? but how do I tell it to use which picture for which plug in (e.g. My TV series, My Movies, Play Bluray, etc.)???

did check out the xml file related to each of the plug in. however, some has more stuffs in it (e.g. My TV, My Video) while some only has a few lines (e.g. acrsoft player, Moving Picture, etc.). I just don't know what do I do or what should I add/edit in each of those xml file......
