as described in :
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/support-119/updated-imon-soundgraph-lcd-driver-26713/index67.html#post295260
I have been trying for das now reading and changing things but to my surprice I do not manage to get the power event switching of the HTPC when I use Cyberdisplay.
Without cybrdisplay The PC switches of coreectly so I think it must have to do with the cybrdisplay plugin

My settings in Cyberdisplay are[

Well, I think I've narrowed this down to an issue with .Net being broken. Unfortunately it's not an easy thing to fix with Vista. And I'm not sure which version of .Net as I couldn't find any references saying what version the plugin uses. CyberMage, can you shed any light on that?

Anyways, I've tried several different methods of verifying and fixing .Net but nothing has solve the problem so it looks like I'll have to live with it until my next rebuild.

Going to take another stab at posting this one. A few others seem to be have had this issue but there hasn't been any solution posted as far as I have been able to search.

I had the plugin working fine for quite a while. I then had to reinstall 1 RC1 due to some problems. After the reinstall, whenever I try to launch the plugin configuration it errors out with:

Failed to locate assembly MSASSTATE, Version 6.0.6000.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken=XXXXXXX, Note that the configuration program must be executed from/reside in the MediaPortal folder, the execution will now end.

Now using RC2 but problem was occuring under RC1 as well.

Using the IMON 7.2.050 drivers. I have installed iMon and set the FrontView to always be off. Have removed the iMon Manager from startup.

Logs attached.

I think I found what caused te powerswitch not work:eek:

I discovered the I mon DLL SG_VFD in the MP folder to be
older then the one in the IMON folder.
I never Looked at it becaus in the start post is a warning not to place the DLL in the MP folder.
Now I get the Power down and all other funktions seem to work now
Just wanted to share this with all that helped me;)

Will the "Fujistu Scaleo EV VFD driver by David Kesl" (from the externaldisplay plugin) be supported?

I just hope so, because I really like the enhancements you made with your plugin!

    Where/which is current version?

It's quite difficult to figure out in this 60 p. thread which or where is the current version of this plugin.
Obviously it isn't here. Why isn't the Wiki plugins section being updated? How else would I find the current version?

Not even a flicker … another one asking desperately for help

    Hello Cybrmage,
    Hello community,
After almost a week of reading the threads of almost 180 pages of experience, tips and tricks I’m deeply desperate because I cannot get it to work. I haven’t even managed to see one flicker on the 4,3” touch screen display with the Cybrdisplay plug-in.
What I did so far I try to recapitulate …
Based on the HW platform a clean Vista Ultimate installation and on top Mediaportal and TVService RC1 plus the Snapshot 22/08
IMons SW installed automatic update to 7.40 – Cybrdisplay installed not working
Reading the different threads - first hints that Imon 7.40 is not compatible with Cybrdisplay and the advice to use Imon version 6.x. Okay, I used 7.40, 7.20, 6.20 (I guess) and 6.01 something and it was always the same not even a flicker. Besides that Imon Version 6.01 couldn’t find the Imon HW.
And yes I followed the step by step advice from Cybrdisplay by installing Imon running the configuration once disabling the autostart and configuring Cybrdisplay. Whatever configuration I have chosen in the set-up auto detect, LCD, LCD2 not even one flicker.
I’m confused and desperate is there anything basically wrong in my procedure? Is this just a simple problem?
I really would appreciate your support in order to see this plug-in working.

    Thanks, ojessie

After I installed the Cybrdisplay plugin (MEDIAPORTAL - free MediaCenter HTPC Software - Others) I now get an error when I enter plugins in configuration.
2008-08-31 21:30:24.828125 [ERROR][MPMain]: TVHome: Error in Reload - Could not load file or assembly 'log4net, Version=1.2.9.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b32731d11ce58905' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
This maybe because of that I am running MediaPortal Setup 1.0_RC2. Is there a way to fix this or have I too delete and install all over again?

    Hi!

How would one attack the task of adding more Custom characters to the setup of this plugin?

I can see how I should add the characters, but how do I get the display to show them?
