Here are the freq. of unscrembeled channels in Nyborg.
TV 2 Sport=554000
Kanal 4=506000
Kanal5=530000
TV3 Puls= 530000

Thanks a lot! Now I only have problem with TV2 Sport - the unscrambled versions of my other favourite channels are now found. The funny thing with TV2 Sport is that I also have found it on 554000 but it is the unscrambled version for me. Also, I see no differences in the TuningDetails section for '2Sport' in your xml file and mine. Are you sure you have an unscrambled version of TV2 Sport?

So was mine, but apparent something was wrong, since I finally got TV2 Sport to work by deleting the found channal at 554000, and make a search using a xml-file with only the TuningDetails section with frequency 850000 present. It seems like the unscrambled version at 554000 somehow messes things up. I figure it is the same issue that you encountered.

The TV Server might have a problem finding DVB-C channels that exists in two versions with the same name where the first is scrambled and the other isn't. It is not consisting thought, since I had no issues with most other channels.

Yes you are right.
Sorry my mistake, my TV2 sport unscrambeled is also on freq. 850000.

Running Windows 7 x64 I can use the Microsoft DTV-DVD codecs (video and audio for both MPEG2 and H.264). I have also tested with FFDShow for MPEG/AC3 audio.

The problem is when I switch from an MPEG2/MP2 channel to a H.264/HE-AAC channel, the picture goes black and I need to "rezap" the channel to watch it. No problem going from H.264 -> MPEG2. Weird...

Using CoreAVC or PowerDVD 9 changes nothing

The first time I try to start a channel that is H.264 I also get an "unable to connect to graph". If I try again the channel is shown.

The graphs are correct, in the sense that H.264 is decoded by CoreAVC + Monogram AAC, and MPEG2 channels with PowerDVD + ffdshow.

Grr...why does it have to be this hard!

Maybe some of you will find this useful

OK...got inspired by Seidelin that (judging from his screenshots) used an older PowerDVD 7, I found a version (demo) on the net and installed. And...behold, I can now zap between MPEG2 and H.264 without any problems

This was NOT working with the CLVsd.ax that I got from SAF (PDVD 9).

I have attached some screenshots of my setup if it can help anyone.

I have the following installed:
- Win 7 x64
- Latest MP SVN 23978
- SAF v4.00 beta19
- Haali Media Splitter 1.9.42.1
- CoreAVC build 6721
- Cyberlink PowerDVD 7 (search Google for CyberLink.3118(EVR)_DVD070604-04)

I have not tested if I have DXVA on MPEG2, and I really don't care. Of course it is not on H.264 since CoreAVC is software only (no CUDA on my ATi card )

Client only...doesn't make any difference to install them on the server unless you have a screen attached to it and want to play video there

I have attached some screenshots of my setup if it can help anyone.

On win 7 you could also be lucky to get the microsoft codecs working. They should work pretty well with TV (since that is what they are designed for).

I have only one gripe with your screenshots: The about box for coreAVC you should have waited for the thanks to MediaPortal. And the serial number should not be visible, so forgive me for editing your post. Feel free to edit the image back from your own CoreAVC (but no unintentional serial sharing please).
