This new digital tv is making lots of problems.
If i record something... sometimes i can see it in the folder and play it agian, sometimes i cant see it in the folder. But if i move the folder from recorded tv to movie folder, then i can see and watch it.
And my EPG is stopped grabbing by it self

I have a small problem with DR HD through DVB-C I can see it ok and the sound is in sync but it is sometimes very choppy in the playback. it is as if its not using hardware decoding and my small ION cpu can't handle the load but im not sure...
The strange part with this is that if you continue watchin for a while - sometimes a minute sometimes 5 minutes the choppyness goes away and it runs almost normal. there's still very few framedrops but it is viewable

I'm using a TT-1501 tunercard and the newest SAF4.0beta20 codec

Edit - just tried to look at the CPU load while playing DR HD and it is at about 30% in peaks so it's not the CPU that is overloaded

Since YouSee a couple of days ago started to bring multiple channels in two version - one scrambled in low freq and one unscrambled in high freq. for users with the large package - I have not been able to watch all channels. It is most likely since I seem not to be able to find all of the unscrambled channels. I don't find the unscrambled channels for TV2 Sport, 3 Puls among others. I have tried the most obvious such as "Denmark - TDC" and Global 6875. Any tip on which freq's to search?

I use FiredTV-C on YouSee full package on my Windows7 installation. I live in Odense.

    Hi Mackey
I had the same problem, so I think I know what is wrong.
The problem “bug?” is, (it was for me) that the unscrambled channels are overwritten by the scrambled when this channel has a higher freq. (scaned after the unscrambled channels ).
In the channel list in MP server-config you would be abel can see both freq.
So you have to delete these channels and scan these “manually” make a special tuning file by modifying the Danmark.TDC. xml file and call it something like Danmark.TDC-manual.xml, but with only the freq. of the missing ununscrambled channels.
You can do this in notepad.

Sorry I did not notice that you are a developer, so you probably know how to make an xml-file.
If you want , I can give you the freq. from yousee in Nyborg, if so just make a list of the channels you don´t have, maybe they are the same.

By the way, it would be nice, if it was posible to make a manual scan in dvb-c.

    Hi nip.nyborg,

Thanks for the tip, but I'm not sure that this my problem. I think that I just haven't been able to search the frequencies where the missing unscrambled channels are missing. Because I do find two copies of the same channel, and here it always seems to be the latter with high freq. that is the one that is unscrambled. The ones that I do have a problem with only occur once with the scrambled version listed. But you are right - I could fall for the same bug that you did.

Have you found the frequencies for e.g. TV2 Sport, Kanal 4/5 or TV3 Puls? In both situations, it would be a great help if you could send me your frequencies in a template or export file. Thanks again!

    Hi Mackey

I think I might have remembered wrong, about the “overwriting”.
I actually think, that it was the other way around, that the channel is locked at the first freq.
But whatever the channel has two freq. and it might tune on the “wrong” one.

If it is to any help here is the tuning-file I made to tune from.
