Here is a recent set of logs showing the failrer to decompose the second tuner of a dual tuner card when it has been used. EPG idle dissabled, EPG timeshift enabled.

All previous decompose have been succesful as only one of the tuners had been used in the session between standby/hibernation.

TVSEVER loging and collection needs to be improved as the .bak logs don't get collected and 'AssignSchedulesToCard' is so verbose this tends to cause the the log file to fill to quickly and important logs get lost.

Logs attached show TVe2 NOT having any problems with the same drivers and VISTA OS as the previous post.

Two scheduled recordings different MUX's followed by hibernation and then return from hibernation and new scheduled recording worked without errors.EPG grab active.

A dev realy needs to address the obvious problem with the TVSERVER as more dual tuner cards are becoming available.

The logs here show a test to see if the 'FORCE' option in the hibernation shutdown routine in tvserver powerschedular made a difference, it didn't .

Feedback form a dev would be helpful, if TVSERVER is heading to a RC or stable version then this BUG can't be let to slip through.

Paranoid Delusion, could you add this to the Mantis as you are able to reproduce this. RC2 as the target release.

    Thanks.

I have been trying to look into ways that the 'decompose' routine before standby cold be failing.

During normal session running both tuners of a dual tuner card are used and reused numerous times with a simple decompose without issues. ie. no crashing or failure to tune etc or locking to a frequency.

It is only the final decompose that fails at the

Is the routine looking for the graph of the already finished 'decomposing' tuner and fails here because of this?

Is the routine resolving the wrong tuner ident ?

Would love to add, but for me updating to Daniel Kawakami's Vista Creative Audigy driver, has solved my standby problem whilst grabbing epg and crashing on resume  , which testing originally failed 5 out of 5 times, as i said no problem with no grab being done and epg fully populated.

Is there anything else i can try to reproduce the error your getting.

What tuner card/s are you using?

Is it a dual tuner dvb-t card?

Or multiple single tuner cards ?

The bug I see is only linked with dual tuner cards I have tried, three different, USB and pci-e.

Multiple single tuner cards have no problems from testing.

Also MCE,VCE 32/64 and MP-TVe2 have no problems with the dual tuner cards.

Hauppauge T500 in this machine, running Vista Ultimate 32. TVServer single seat installed.

    That's why i posted :) originally.

Have got all options for epg grabbing from dvb stream enabled.

Since updating driver can clear epg, run MP live tv and go straight to standby and then resume ok, with mediaportal set to restart.
TVServer set to 20 sec delay to find cards, Powerscheduler 5 mins inactivity with reinitiialse tuners set to on.
