Delay in Playing Recorded TV .... sometimes (1 Viewer)

when i go to watch recorded TV it plays but i can't see the picture or the picture takes 5 or more seconds to appear.

If i push stop and play the picture playback will start promptly.

It sounds like a codec issue, but could you please post log files using the watchdog tool:
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/16_Support/3_Forums/2_Log_Files

If the problem is reproducible, follow the instructions for reproducible problems and just attempt to play one or more recordings for 15 seconds or so.
Otherwise, follow the other instructions and if possible let us know when you last played a recording that did this.

Also, is it only specific recordings:

• from certain channels
• HD only
• SD only

...or everything?

Does this happen for live TV as well?
