I have added the new Delete Configuration dialog, so its more consistent to how it works in the GUI. I have done numerous test to ensure it doesn't delete from Disk unless you specify to do so.

Hopefully have a new HotFix release out soon.

Obviously the yes options delete from Disk and the YesToAll will remember choice and automatically delete from disk in future deletions for that session.

Did you by any chance choice Yes or YesToAll on the 'Delete From Disk' prompt mistakenly?

From a usability point of view, I really don't like the two prompts. I want to re-do the delete logic in configuration so its similar to how its presented in the GUI e.g.

Show a Form with 3 choices:

    1. Delete From Disk
    2. Delete From DataBase
    3. Delete From Disk and Database

    buttons: Cancel, OK

also add a checkbox to remember choice possibly.

I think this is more intuitive.

I think this is a good approach - btw, it also did hit me when deleting stuff off the DB - and I am 100% sure I did NOT confirm any deletion on filesystem. Plus I had the stuff on ReiserFS - where there is no usable undelete appls available at all :-(
So I confirm the problem and appreciate the approach to solve it.

The seconds msgbox popup must of been failing for whatever reason...anyway the old system is gone and hopefully no more worries in the future.

I suggest when the new version is release, create some test files to make sure everything works as expected so when you do need to delete you can do it with peace of mind.

Hi there. I just rescued 50% of my collection and got another 25% from a friends backup. So 25% is gone (most of the vids were damanged allthough I didn´t write anything on the drive since the collection went). But I don´t care anymore. I reinstalled the plugin, made a testfolder and imported the stuff from the web. Then I deleted it from the db. BOTH dialogs showed up correctly. I am quite sure they didn´t the first time, but forgive and forget. Seems to work now, maybe I didn´t run the setup in administrator mode. Could that caused the problem? And if it did, can it work with uac enabled?

Im pretty sure it would show the dialog regardless of UAC setting, but I also believe that you may not of seen it some case....just don't know what the case was.

Anyway, the old way has been removed now and will be releasing a new version this week which is much more intuitive.
